House Hispanic Republicans announced their new leadership team on Thursday, as the Congressional Hispanic Conference boasts its largest membership ever this Congress.

The group chose GOP Reps. Mario Diaz-Balart (Fla.) and Tony Gonzales (Texas) as its co-chairmen for the 118th Congress.

Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-Texas) on Tuesday was named vice chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Conference, an organization of Hispanic Republicans in the House.

Gonzales, who was elected to the House in 2020, will join the Hispanic Conference's leadership alongside veteran Chairman Mario Díaz-Balart (R-Fla.), one of the founders of the group.

The members of the Caucus is scheduled a meet in Washington, D.C. with leaders from the U.S. House of Representatives on July 3, 2011 at the U.S. Capitol. The Caucus plans to talk about important issues and initiatives.
