Congressman Tony Gonzales Named Vice Chair of Congressional Hispanic Conference
WASHINGTON, D.C.- Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart named Congressman Tony Gonzales Vice Chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Conference.

Gonzales is a 20-year Navy veteran with a proven record of getting things done and providing solutions for Texans and the American people. During his short tenure in Congress, and as my colleague on the House Appropriations Committee, Congressman Gonzales has shown to be a tough, devoted, and effective leader with an unwavering commitment to serve our nation. I look forward to our continued collaboration as chairmen of the Congressional Hispanic Conference.”

The Congressional Hispanic Conference was founded in 2003 and is a Congressional Member organization, governed under the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives. Other members of the organization are Carlos Gimenez (FL-26), Maria Elvira Salazar (FL-27), Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11), Jenniffer Gonzalez-Colon (Puerto Rico Res. Com.) and Anthony Gonzalez (OH-16).
