Congressman presents Republican plan at town hall

He wants to fix the “failed” Social Security and healthcare systems, even if it means not getting re-elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, freshman Congressman Quico Canseco told Fair Oaks Ranch residents during a town hall meeting.
 
“It has to be fixed by someone who is brave enough to say, ‘I don't care if you don't vote me back,'” he told his constituents, who packed the council chambers April 25. “I'm going to fix this because I've got children and grandchildren, whose future is at stake.”
 
The mostly conservative crowd, who came to oppose the government's role in health care and education, listened patiently to a detailed power point presentation explaining the House Republican proposal Canseco said would get the country back on track.
