Congressman Canseco Attends Del Rio 4th of July Celebration

San Antonio, TX– Congressman Francisco “Quico” Canseco (TX-23), who represents Del Rio in the U.S. House of Representatives, attended the City of Del Rio’s 4th of July celebration:

“America is a beacon of freedom and opportunity, where with dedication and hard work anyone can create a better future for themselves and their children,” Canseco said. “Independence Day is an opportunity to not only celebrate our nation’s birth, but to reflect upon the blessings of liberty that we as Americans enjoy.  It also should remind us that the freedoms we enjoy as Americans have come at a price, paid for by those brave Americans that have served and are currently serving in uniform.  While our nation faces many challenges today, we will continue to fight to always be the land of freedom and opportunity our founding fathers envisioned,” Canseco concluded.
