Congressional Hispanic Conference Co-Chairs Congratulate Rep. Juan Ciscomani Ahead of Spanish Republican Response to State of the Union Address
WASHINGTON, D.C.– Congressional Hispanic Conference Co-Chairs, Representatives Mario Diaz-Balart (FL-26) and Tony Gonzales (TX-23), issued the following statement congratulating Congressman Juan Ciscomani (AZ-6) for being chosen to deliver the Republican response to the Nation in Spanish following the State of the Union Address.
The Co-Chairs said: “As the first naturalized American citizen from Mexico to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives in Arizona history, Congressman Juan Ciscomani is living proof of the countless opportunities afforded to all in the United States of America and all that is possible through hard work and perseverance.
