Canseco to Visit Uvalde County
Will Meet with Local Officials and Host Townhall
Tue. July 5th
San Antonio, TX – On Tuesday, Congressman Francisco “Quico” Canseco (TX-23), an advocate in the U.S. House of Representatives for fiscal responsibility, will be visiting Uvalde County. In Uvalde, Congressman Canseco will be meeting with officials from Uvalde County and the City of Uvalde. “Local elected officials here in Uvalde County see firsthand everyday how policies created in Washington, like the government take-over of health care and out-of-control spending, are affecting the ability of local businesses to create jobs. I want to hear firsthand what they believe needs to be done to create an environment where jobs can be created,” Canseco concluded.

In addition, Congressman Canseco will be hosting a townhall that evening at 5:30pm to discuss what the House of Representatives is doing to get our economy back on track and creating jobs. “As I talk to folks across the 23rd District of Texas, they want to know what Congress is doing to create jobs. This townhall will give my constituents the opportunity to come and learn firsthand what the House of Representatives has been doing to get our economy back on track and creating jobs.”
